The zoo boasts one of the best snake collections on the East Coast, has an interactive petting zoo, live educational animal shows, and mammals and exotic birds from around the world. The zoo's owners, Mark and Jennifer Kilby, are usually around to answer questions from the public. Luray Zoo is a specialized zoo that provides a home to unwanted and/or abused exotic animals. Luray Zoo DOES NOT breed or sell exotic animals for income or profit. Luray Zoo does not receive any type of government funding. The Zoo is supported by your admissions, gift shop sales, zoo sponsorship program and generous donations from awesome people like you!
