The mission of the Tracy Aviary is to enrich lives and further the preservation of the natural world. Using our bird collection, programs and exhibits, we engage and educate others in order to transform their beliefs and behaviors about the natural world, and we participate in conservation efforts through research and direct action.

We not only participate in Species Survival Plans and breeding programs, we educate through field trips, outreach programs, children’s’ classes and interactive learning for Zoo guests. Our staff works hard to provide the most innovative animal care practices and goes the extra mile to ensure species survival.
