Prospect Park Zoo

Queens Zoo

The Queens Zoo, a tribute to American animals, opened to the public on June 25, 1992. It was the second of three "city zoos" to be renovated and operated by Wildlife Conservation Society, through a partnership with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

Trevor Zoo

The Trevor Zoo was founded in 1936 by Frank Trevor, Millbrook School's first biology teacher and a man with a passion for sharing his love of wildlife with all people, especially students. Today it is an integral part of the school and has grown so that it now accommodates more than 120 exotic and indigenous animals. In 1989, the zoo was accredited by AZA (American Zoo and Aquarium Association).
