Nearly 200 species of animals are represented in the Buttonwood Park Zoo, ranging from tiny frogs to enormous elephants.

The Zoo is committed to inspiring conservation of our natural resources and protection for threatened and endangered species. The Forest Park Zoological Society will continue to maintain the highest standard of animal care and facility maintenance, and promote comprehensive educational programming opportunities for its members and the regional community.

Southwick’s is home to over 500 wild animals featuring more than 100 varied species, many of which are endangered.

The 72-acre zoo is home to more than 200 species of animals. You'll see zebras, gorillas, bats, butterflies, tropical birds, snakes, lions, just about everything you would expect to see at a zoo.
