Idaho River Journeys has been outfitting rafting vacations on Idaho's two premier rivers, the Middle Fork of the Salmon and Main Salmon, since 1978. We enjoy a reputation for running top-quality trips with an exceptional crew of professional, knowledgeable and friendly river guides.

For all our river trips, logistics are simple and we provide just about everything you need to make your rafting trip with Idaho River Journeys hassle-free and easy to plan. Most trip packages include an air shuttle from the end of the trip to Boise.

If you are looking for a charter river trip for a group of friends, family reunion or to celebrate a milestone event, we offer private trips on the Salmon River for parties of 8 or more. We still have a few 2006 dates available for these exclusive rafting trips. Call us for details.

Middle Fork river trips meet in Stanley, Idaho. We have 9 summer launch dates and we can accommodate up to 23 guests per trip. For all our Middle Fork river trips, we furnish spacious clean tents, freshly laundered sleeping bags, delicious meals, fly rods, inflatable kayaks and an outstanding, knowledgeable crew. Our adult fare of $1,795 includes all the gear you'll need pluis a post-trip air shuttle back to Boise. We have space available for June and August departures.

Salmon River trips meet in the town of Salmon, Idaho. This trip is a favorite for family reunions and groups that include youngsters. The Main Salmon has warm water, big sandy beaches and numerous historic sites. For the Main Salmon, our minimum age is 6. We offer exclusive, charters on the Main Salmon for parties of 8 or more. Trips can be schedule for 4, 5 or 6-days.
