Bike the Sites (Visit this link)

Make the most of your visit with the Capital Sites tour — our most comprehensive and popular offering. This tour takes you from one end of the National Mall to the other, featuring the Lincoln Memorial, White House, Washington Monument, Supreme Court, Union Station, the Capitol, and much more. Get the latest on Smithsonian exhibits, special events, and sightseeing tips from our safety-conscious and entertaining guides.

There’s no better way to spend an evening in Washington than our Sites @ Nite tour. This evening tour takes you to the National Mall and Potomac Tidal Basin when the monuments are less crowded, the air is cooler, and the views are magnificent. Explore the new WWII memorial, Vietnam War memorial, Jefferson, Lincoln, and FDR memorials, and more. Riders are equipped with reflective vests and safety lights, and families are welcome.

The Monuments Tour is a leisurely yet efficient way to explore the monuments and memorials around the National Mall and Potomac Tidal Basin. Visit and learn about many famous Washington sites, such as the Washington monument and WWII memorial, as well as a few hidden treasures! Your guide will share history and interesting anecdotes about each memorial, then allow a few minutes for participants to explore the memorials on their own.

Bike the Sites and Washington Walks offers families a whole new way to explore our nation's capital: Family Bike Adventures. Choose one of our combination biking/walking tours, each 2-1/2 hours long — or come along on all three!

You’ll begin your adventure by hopping on a 21-speed mountain bike (children not ready for their own bike will ride along on a trailer tandem or trailer carriage) and cycling to some of the city’s most famous landmarks. An experienced Bike the Sites guide will help to safely cross intersections and point out interesting sites and facts. We may even throw in a history question or two to test your youngster! Next, a Washington Walks guide will entertain you for the next hour with a fascinating tour developed specifically for children ages 4 to 10 with help from the Children’s Concierge. Then it’s back to the bikes for a ride to a few more landmarks, before heading back to the Old Post Office Pavilion.
