Did you know that Boston is the home of nearly 400 movies and TV shows? With its unique charm and history, Boston has long been a movie making haven for Hollywood producers.

Boston Movie Tours enables guests to ‘See Boston thru Hollywood’s Eyes.’ Our goal is to provide guests with a fun and entertaining experience by bringing these movies and TV shows to life.

"Movie buffs love to know more about their favorite films and the actors who starred in them," says Jeff Coveney, Boston Movie Tours founder. "To see or stand at a location where a favorite movie was shot or a famous actor or actress strolled is a huge thrill for movie fans.”

Boston Movie Tours is family run by Boston locals, Jeff and Rachel Coveney.

The idea started back in 2002 when the Coveneys visited Hawaii on their honeymoon and took the Hawaii Movie Tour. “Seeing where Jurassic Park was filmed and swinging on the same rope as Harrison Ford in Raiders of the Lost Art really brought the movies to life.” says Rachel Coveney. “We wanted to bring that same experience to Boston.”

Through an exclusive arrangement with Movie Tours in Hawaii, Coveney’s company operates as Boston Movie Tours in the Boston area. “We are very excited to work with Boston Movie Tours in helping bring Boston visitors a new way to see the city,” says Bob Jasper, Movie Tours pioneer and founder of Hawaii Movie Tours. In addition to Boston, Movie Tour® companies also operate in Kauai, HI, Monterey, CA and shortly, San Francisco, CA.
