Our main purpose is to exceed our customer’s expectations. We offer a combination of tours in Northern Arizona. These tours range from 4x4 backcountry expeditions to traveling on paved roads to wonderful destinations like Sedona/Jerome, Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest. While experiencing an adventure with us, you will learn about the history, geology, botany and sociology related to the area of your tour. On each tour you will hear about the beliefs of the Arizona Native American Indians, creation as related in nature and Intelligent Design Theory of Geology. With your permission, your guide will pray for a safe, fun and educational tour.

Payson Adventures, is a family owned business specializing in outdoor excitement on the Mogollon Rim in Central Arizona since 1998.
We specialize in riding or hiking tours in the Payson, Arizona area. We can take groups up to nine in each of our bright yellow, Chevy Blazers, outfitted with comfortable seats, seat belts, open tops (on pleasant days), roll cage, and plenty of food and drink.

We also take small groups in the sand rail (a much less leisurely trip!). These trips are for the excitement seekers.

Our experienced hike leaders have logged thousands of miles on the challenging trails of the Tonto National Forest. Our hikes range from moderate to strenuous, from 5 mile loops to all day treks.

If you enjoy mountain bike riding, we can take you, your friends and your bikes to some of the most beautiful and exciting trailheads in the world - and pick you up when you're finished.

On our longer trips, we pack gourmet sandwiches, snacks and drinks for a picnic deep in the wilderness. A local eatery provides our meals.

Each tour is unique and exciting. We make every effort to present a beautiful, safe and relaxing trip thru the mountains, streams, rocky crags and ponderosa pine in the heart of the Rim Country!
