Fully Supported... What does fully supported mean? Simply this. You ride your bike, and we take care of everything else! At Alaskabike.com we feel the tour activities are plenty for you to do, so we set up roadside snacks, feed you lunches, and of course, forward your luggage to your hotel.
What if I get tired? If you ever don’t want to ride your bike, or take part in any of the activities, we take care of that too! We make sure you see the van often ,and that there is always room for you! You can feel free to get in the van at any time!
Hills and Mountains, Alaska is certainly well known for its mountains. Fortunately the roads in the north country pass through the mountains rather than over them. For example, when we cross the Alaska Range at Isabel Pass (the highest point on our tours), the road only climbs to 3200 feet. And the greatest one day elevation gain on either tour is only 1800 feet!
We provide quality CANNONDALE cross bikes for our tours. Each bike is equipped with 21 speed Shimano index shifting, smooth rolling tires, and is Alaska Equipped with fenders, rack, water bottle and day pack. Bicycle rental is included in the tour price.
All meals are provided. Most meals are eaten in lodges or restaurants along the route. Whenever possible food is ordered off the menu, so you get to decide what to eat.
All lodging is included in tour price, including lodging in the city of departure the night before the tour begins. Accommodations on our tours vary from luxury hotels to rustic cabins with central baths. Hotel rooms are double occupancy with private baths. Single rooms may be available at additional cost. Please call for availability.
Your tour price includes hotel accommodations in Anchorage the night before tour departure date.
