Skydive Carolina! is owned and operated by Danny Smith, and is a United States Parachute Association (USPA) Group Member Drop Zone. Danny is also a member of the Parachute Industry Association. He has over 35 years of skydiving experience and started Skydive Carolina! in 1986 as a two Cessna operation on the south side of the airport. Since then Danny has moved to the large hanger on the east side of the airport and in addition to a Cessna 182 offers skydivers the DeHavilland Twin Otter (Super), which carries 22 skydivers. Frequently he brings in a Super Casa for special events or boogies.
Located just 36 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina at the Chester County Municipal Airport in Chester, South Carolina, Skydive Carolina!is easy to find. The drop zone is open year-round for skydiving Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday, 8:00 AM - Sunset and offers a full line of skydiving services and training programs including Tandem, Instructor Assisted Freefall (IAF) and Accelerated Freefall (AFF).
