Our modern facilities are located at the Winterset Airport, only thirty minutes from Des Moines. We offer all forms of training using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.

The Des Moines Skydivers was founded in 1974 as a non-profit club for the purpose of providing the public with a safe and comfortable means to learn and enjoy sport parachuting. Since our beginning, we have grown to be the largest drop zone in Iowa. As the largest parachuting club in the State and one of few in the Country, we have been able to invest in the safest and most modern student equipment while keeping our rates among the lowest in the Midwest.
