Southern Ohio Diving Academy is the Miami Valley's most experienced and caring dive center in the area. We take pride in serving every customer with a smile and making sure our customers walk away happy too. SODA has the largest and most experienced staff of any dive shop in the area. We realize that new divers have many, many questions that need answering. We will answer those questions and talk to you about equipment, classes or trips all day long. That's what we're here for...you.
SODA believes it's not only our job to make you feel right at home in our store, but in the water as well. SODA trains more divers than anyone in the Miami Valley and we take immense pride in knowing that every diver we certify is a safe diver who is comfortable in the water.
SODA also offers the largest in-house inventory of any dive center around. After all, if we don't have the item in stock, how can we sell it to you? Masks, snorkels, fins, computers, regulators, swim gear, bags, watches, dive accessories...you have to stop in to see just how much we have in stock. And if you ever have a problem with an item, SODA works hard to do right by you so you'll keep coming back to us!
Having the largest staff also allows us to teach more classes than anyone in the area. Need a class that isn't on our schedule? Give us a call, we'll schedule it for you personally. Need a dive buddy? We have 7 continuously going Open Water Classes! Yep, at least 7 classes either going or getting ready to go...year round!
Some dive centers like to boast they have an on-site pool. SODA has access to 9 different pools! Nine! Most of which we can get you into day or night...24 hours a day. You might have to hop in a car and drive 5 minutes to get there, but at least you don't have the added expense of paying for our pool!
And if you need to get away from it all, SODA offers the most exciting diving trips you'll find from any dive center...ANYWHERE. Our trips have been featured in the Dayton Daily News more than once. And they are affordable. We include airfare, diving, hotel and most of the time meals in our package prices so there are no surprise fees when you get there. We are out of the country every other month and promise if you go on one trip with us...you'll be spoiled for life.
Come in and visit us at 1212 E. Stroop Road in Kettering or at our Vandalia store located at 340 National Road. We're sure you'll notice the difference at SODA.
