What do you look for when selecting a SCUBA Instructor? At CDC we feel strongly that experience is what really counts. Many new instructors have excellent educational credentials but lack the diving and training experience to make your introduction to the underwater world safe and comfortable. Don't be fooled by an impressive list of letters and numbers after an instructor's name, what some knowledgeable divers have started to call 'the dyslexic alphabet of SCUBA'. Before you let someone teach you, or your loved ones, to dive ask about the instructor's diving experience and teaching experience.
