My name is Steve Vanik and I've been teaching scuba since 1975. My wife Patty has been teaching since 1984. Considering the average length of time a dive instructor lasts in the dive business, this means we've been around for long time.

A few years ago I decided to retire from the enormity of running my brick and mortar retail dive store/school in favor of having a life, and to enable Patty and I to teach scuba classes away from the insanity that takes place in most of the commercial dive industry here in southeast Florida.

So we made the transition from dive "store/school" to just dive "school" for these reasons, although we continue to offer many other important services besides classes for divers who complete their training programs with us.

On our web site you will find information about our dive classes and services, some useful links, and some game collection photos we've collected over the years. One of these days I plan to put up a more extensive photo gallery of our other diving activities as well.
