Jewish Museum of Maryland (Visit this link)

We combine art, rare objects, historical photographs, oral histories, videos,
and hands-on activities in engaging, informative exhibitions. Each exhibit
created or hosted by the Museum reveals new perspectives on the Jewish
experience in Maryland and beyond. Come immerse yourself in our current exhibits
and experience the rich variety of Jewish history.

The Jewish Museum of Maryland has the largest single collection of regional
Jewish Americana in the U.S. Our collections include works of art, historical
photographs, clothing, ceremonial items, rare books, everyday objects,
documents, oral histories, and memorabilia. The collections embody the story of
Jewish life in Maryland - immigration, family history, business, congregational
and organizational life, leisure, consumption, and contemporary culture. The
Museum collections and scholarly research inform our exhibitions, programs, and
publications.

The Jewish Museum of Maryland maintains the largest collection of regional
Jewish history resources in the country, and we would like to share them with
you! Whether through exhibitions, programs, publications, or research, the
collections are made available to the public in appropriate ways.

The JMM’s collections tell the story of Jewish life in Maryland, including
immigration, family history, business, congregational life, leisure,
consumption, recreation, and religion. The collections include 170 paintings,
963 textiles, 3393 three-dimensional objects, 89,200 photographs, 613 rare
books, more than 500 oral histories, and 865 linear feet of archival materials.
