Hawaii Museum of Flying (Visit this link)
The Museum has four retired Navy fighter jets, one UP-3A Orion (an older version of the EP-3 that was captured in the China incident), a CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter, and numerous military ground vehicles and equipment. The first two aircraft acquired from the Navy was an F-4N Phantom and an A-4E Skyhawk. Both aircraft were in Defense Reutilization Marketing Organization Hawaii (D.R.M.O. Hawaii) and slated to be cut up for scrap.
Subsequently, the Museum added the UP-3A Orion, two more A-4E Skyhawks, and two helicopters: a CH-53D Sea Stallion and a UH-1H Huey to the Museum’s growing fleet.
All aircraft are in various stages of restoration and require additional skilled manpower and funds to complete each aircraft for display. Tools and equipment are also needed.
The Hawaii Museum of Fling is a 501(3) c non-profit foundation and any donations are welcome. Also, donations of any photos of aviation in Hawaii or items related to aviation in Hawaii are welcome. Aircrafts are also needed, both flying and non-flying.
