Kenolie Village Campground (Visit this link)
Kenolie Village Campground is a family camping area. The campground is owned and operated by family members.
Kenolie Village was started about 37 years ago by Ken and Stella Dowley. Ken is known by campers as Pa. Pa and his wife and children all work together to bring you this beautiful and active community.
We have different activities each weekend. Some of the activities are Bingo, BBQs and Dances. Some of the campers wanted activities during the week so we have game night, exercise groups and pot lucks. There are also many activities that go on in the town of Newfane and in nearby towns. Newfane has a flea market on Sundays and other towns regularly have church suppers.
Kenolie Village offers river swimming within walking distance on the West River. Many of our campers swim, canoe, raft, fish, and play there too. There is a deep area for swimmers and a more shallow area for small children.
Kenolie Village is open from April 1st to November 25, 2007. We have sites that are rented seasonally and monthly. We have tent sites, a lean-to, water hookups, and 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups. We have a small safari field. We do have sites that can accommodate 40 ft and larger trailers. Both wooded and open sites are available throughout the campground. Flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, and laundry room are available for your convenience.
We have a new playground for the young at heart. For the children there are swings, slides, a field to play ball, and more. For our older guests we have horseshoes, a shuffleboard, and a shady pavilion where you can play games and meet new friends.
Finally, we have a small store with items like snack foods, ice cream, ice, and firewood.
