Chippewa Park (Visit this link)
Chippewa Park provides the largest public area on the waterfront . The park is unique in both setting and context on the waterfront. It provides the only swimming beach on the lake and has an amusement park, 18 camping cabins, 150 camp sites, recreation fields, picnic areas, trails, interpretive facilities and a classic Ontario park lodge. The park is used in the winter for tobogganing and cross country skiing.
Chippewa Park has been the home to a range of amusement rides since the early 1920's. Today, anchored by the Historical Carousel, the park boasts a small midway. For the younger set they can choose between tanks, planes and boats to ride on. For the older visitor, the tilt-a-whirl, bumper cars and the roller coaster will give you a thrill.
